Have you wanted to try using snowshoes but didn’t know where to rent them? North Chagrin Nature Center rents snowshoes in adult and children sizes. There must be at least 4” of snow. Please call for rates, availability of snowshoes and details.

Look About Littles

Young children will love this 6 week nature and outdoor class. Each week, we'll explore the magic of winter through outdoor exploration, working on a project and learning together. This class meets Mondays, January 23 – March 6 (excluding February 20). Children should dress for both indoor and outdoor activities.      Register online by 1/22.

Polliwog Preschool

Join Natalie the Naturalist to discover nature in this drop-off program. Winter may be the time that many plants and animals are hibernating; however we will still be fluttering, romping and traipsing. Through the use of hands-on, nature-based activities structured around art, literature, music and movement, we will further develop your polliwog’s preschool skills. Must be potty trained. No afternoon program on February 1. Make up date to be determined. Register online by January 20

Cookies & Cocoa Snowshoe Hike: Cancelled

This program has been cancelled due to weather. Embrace winter by raising your heartbeat with an invigorating snowshoe hike. Learn snowshoeing basics including terminology, turning, going up and down small hills, how to easily go over obstacles, and why going backwards usually isn’t a good idea.
