Fight the Frost

Winter doesn’t scare us, we live in Ohio! No matter what the groundhog says, we’ll fight the frost! Cure your cabin fever by joining us for lots of mid-winter fun. We will have both inside and outside activities for all ages, including a craft project, carpet skating, stories, marshmallow roasting, a frosty hike and hopefully some snow sculpting. We’ll also have hot chocolate and snow cones for you to enjoy while you play.

History of Maple Sugaring

March 3 - March 19 @ 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
In late February and early March, Ohio's maple trees are typically ready to be tapped.  Take a hike along the Sugarbush Trail and view sap collecting methods.  Don't forget to visit the Sugarhouse where boiling sap transforms into tasty maple syrup!  On weekends, visitors can walk through time along the Sugarbush trail from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to see the sap-collecting methods and maple syrup-making processes used by Native Americans, pioneers and modern sugar farmers.  The Histor...
