Field Trip Transportation Fund

Contributions to the Field Trip Transportation Fund support bus expenses for students to attend free school programs at outdoor education facilities within Cleveland Metroparks. This fund was established in response to reduced school transportation budgets throughout the region and will benefit more than 5000 students each year.

Specifically, schools in Cuyahoga County and Hinckley Township may apply for a reimbursement voucher of $150 from the Field Trip Transportation Fund to support the costs of using buses from their school district to attend one field trip per class per year. In most cases, this provides funding for 50 children to participate in one of Cleveland Metroparks award winning school programs.

Gifts may be made to support student transportation now and in the future. To make a direct gift today, select the online giving option, or print the Field Trip Transportation Fund form and return to the address below. You may also support field trip transportation funding in perpetuity through a will bequest to Cleveland Metroparks Emerald Necklace Endowment Fund.
