Woodlands of Bedford: Blooms and Butterflies

Explore the floodplains around Tinkers Creek for beautiful late spring flowers and their associated butterflies with Naturalist Fred Losi. This hike will be repeated on four Mondays revealing changes as spring progresses towards summer.

Sunset at the Lake

Join Naturalist Debra Shankland at Lake Isaac as dusk nears. We’ll look for wildflowers and wildlife, then let our ears take over our perceptions as the sun sets. Evening always brings a different experience.

Celebrate your country by taking to the trails in search of our national colors. We’ll look for cardinals, bluebirds, white-fizzing waterfalls and more.

West Creek Night Hike: Red, White & Blue 

Celebrate patriotism and civic pride with a hike in Parma’s Big Backyard. We’ll search high and low for red, white and blue organisms. Let’s see how many species we can count!

West Creek Wildflower Walk

Observe and learn more about the native, perennial plants in West Creek’s restored meadow. Many of these plants are in their third year of growth and full maturity.
